Types of Muscle Works

1.Isotonic contraction:

Isotonic contraction, tension remains unchanged and the muscle's length changes. Lifting an object is an example of isotonic contractions.

a)Concentric muscle work:

Force produced while the muscle is shortening in length.

b)Eccentric muscle work:

An eccentric muscle contraction is a type of muscle activation that increases tension on a muscle as it lengthens. Eccentric contractions typically occur when a muscle opposes a stronger force, which causes the muscle to lengthen as it contracts.

2.Isometric Contraction:

A contraction in which a muscle exerts force but does not change in length. Isometric contractions are common in activities such as yoga and stretching.
